3. Liability & Claims
Expedico aims to handle every damage claim fairly, while protecting against fraudulent or delayed reporting.
Customers are asked to inspect goods before signing for a completed delivery. Any damage identified by the delivery crew at the point of delivery is photographed as part of the proof-of-delivery process and reported at the time.
Damage that is not identified at the point of delivery should be reported to Expedico within 48 hours of delivery, including the order number, a description of the damage, clear photographs of the item, and photographs of the packaging where applicable. Claims reported after this 48-hour window cannot be accepted.
Once a claim has been submitted, Expedico aims to provide a final response within 5 working days. Where Expedico accepts liability, we will work with the retailer to agree one of the following outcomes, as appropriate: repair, replacement, or compensation.
Packaging should be retained until a claim has been resolved.
Expedico accepts no liability for goods, parts or components that are defective, faulty, or incorrectly sized as supplied, produced or sold by the retailer on whose behalf the delivery is made.
4. Trial Period & Cancellation
Expedico offers a four-week trial period to all new retailer accounts, giving both parties the opportunity to see how Expedico can operate alongside the retailer's business and take on the day-to-day running of deliveries.
During onboarding, the retailer account is set up and demonstrated to the retailer. At the end of the four-week trial, a review meeting is arranged so the retailer can decide whether to continue or cancel the account.
There is no minimum order requirement to open or maintain a retailer account, and retailers may cancel at any time.
5. Data & Confidentiality
Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how personal data is collected, used and protected.
During periods of high demand, Expedico may appoint approved subcontractors to carry out deliveries on our behalf. Expedico ensures these subcontractors are held to data protection and confidentiality standards equivalent to our own. Customer information is shared only where necessary to complete an agreed delivery.
